Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch development projects worth Rs. 14,500 crores in Gujarat and also inaugurate Mahakal Lok during his three-day tour beginning tomorrow. PM Mode will be in his home state, where Assembly polls are expected this year during October 9-11 and shall later visit Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh on October 11.

He shall lay foundation stones of multiple projects at Modhera in Mehsana, Amod in Bharuch, Ahmedabad, and Jamnagar. He shall travel to Shree Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on October 11 after inaugurating and laying foundation stones in Ahmedabad.

Meanwhile in Modhera, PM Modi will declare it as India’s first village to be solar-powered 24×7. The first of its kind project realized PM Modi’s vision of solarization of the Sun Temple of Modhera. The project involved developing a ground-mounted solar power plant and more than 1300 rooftop solar systems on residential and government buildings, all of them being integrated with a battery energy storage system (BESS).
