Bilaspur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the poll-bound state, Himachal Pradesh today. PM Modi is expected to inaugurate projects worth Rs. 3650 crores and lay the foundation stone to multiple development projects. He shall lay foundation stone of 31 km long four lanning of National Highway from Pinjore to Nalagrah on NH-105, worth over 1690 connecting Ambala, Chandigarh, Panchkula, and Solan. PM Modi tweeted about his visit to the state and his participation at Dussehera celebrations.
PM Modi will also lay foundation stone of Medical Device Park at Nalagarh, which is expected to be built at a cost of Rs. 140 crore. He shall also inaugurate AIIMS Bilaspur, whose foundation stone was laid by him in October 2017. Constructed at a cost of Rs 1470 crores, it si a state-of-the art hospital with 18 specialty and 17 super specialty departments, 18 modular operation theatres, and 750beds with 64 ICU beds. The hospital shall admit 100 students for MBBS courses and 60 students annually.
PM Modi will also participate in the Kullu Dusshera celebrations and address a public function at Luhnu Ground in Bilaspur. PM shall witness the Rath Yatra and it is the first time that a Prime Minister will participate in Kullu Dussehra celebrations.
