Through its official social media platform, “X,” the Ministry shared before-and-after images, showcasing the remarkable redevelopment efforts.
The images reveal a significant upgrade, highlighting the modernization of Urkura station with a new station building, designed to offer a contemporary and passenger-friendly environment. The redevelopment also includes a spacious circulating area and porch, aimed at improving passenger flow and reducing congestion. A new waiting room has been constructed, providing comfortable seating and amenities for travelers. Furthermore, the station now boasts a large parking facility, addressing the growing need for convenient parking options. Modern toilets have also been installed, ensuring improved hygiene and sanitation standards.
