Prime Minister Narendra Modi today alluded to the seriousness of criticism that he espouses regarding Congress President Rahul Gandhi after the kid gloves praise given by former Pakistan Minister Fawad Hussain. The statement implied that the destructive ambition of Indian officials had some kind of an imperial dream that put them high above all the national leaders in this region. While addressing a gathering at a rally in the Gujarati city of Anand, Modi accused of a Congress-Pakistan link, claiming “Pakistan pays for the revival of Congress and Congress weakens in India to the liking of Pakistan.” “Pakistan’s ‘prayer priest’ is Congress”, his speech read, claiming its alliance with Pakistan.
The PM’s comments followed the video tweet of Chaudhry Fawad Hussain of the BJP party, which showed the Indian Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi, in a criticism of the BJP government while the Prime Minister inaugurated Ram Mandir’s Vidhi Pooja ceremony. From the video that had Gandhi’s focus railing against the BJP’s alleged neglect of the poor and the youth, the BJP remained unsparing to issue strong criticisms on the matter.
Bashing on the alleged proximity of the Congress to twin Pakistan, Amit Malviya, BJP’s IT cell head, ridiculed Congress’s constant association with Rahul Gandhi and demanded to know if Congress wants to run its campaigns by the venue of Pakistan.
A topic that led the speech at the Anand rally was again depicting an example of selective application of the Constitution by Congress, whereas article 370 was cancelled in Kashmir. He equally said terrorism efforts by the Pak became minimal as compared to India with the accent on development programs since she committed to achieving India nation economy status by the year 2047.
Asserting his administration’s achievements, Modi highlighted providing tap water connections to 14 crore households within 10 years, contrasting it with Congress’s purported record of only three crore households in 60 years.
Overall, Modi’s remarks underscore the ongoing political narrative surrounding Congress’s alleged nexus with Pakistan amid the backdrop of Rahul Gandhi’s criticism of the BJP government and the wider geopolitical implications.
