New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (October 29) announced that a nationwide ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’ platform will be launched on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary on October 31 to give the youth an opportunity to play an active role in various nation-building events.
While addressing the 106th episode of the Mann Ki Baat radio program, PM Modi informed that Khadi Mahotsav has broken all records this month. “Earlier this month, Khadi witnessed record sales in Delhi… This month’s ongoing Khadi Mahotsav has once again broken all records. On Gandhi Jayanti, Khadi witnessed record sales”, said the prime minister.
While sharing a video on X, he wrote “Sharing this month’s Mann Ki Baat. Do tune in!”.
Further highlighting the use of ‘Vocal for Local’ during the upcoming festivities, he urged people to promote local products to fulfil the dream of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’, a step forward in making India the biggest manufacturing hub.
PM Modi Addresses 104th Episode Of Mann Ki Baat
PM Modi also announced that India will celebrate Tribal Pride Day on November 15. “This special day is associated with the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. Lord Birsa Munda resides in the hearts of all of us. We can learn from his life what true courage is and what it means to stand firm on one’s determination”, said the prime minister.
Mann Ki Baat is a monthly radio programme hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he addresses the nation on a variety of topics. The programme is broadcast on All India Radio and Doordarshan on the last Sunday of every month, and is also streamed live on the Prime Minister’s website and social media channels.
