New Delhi: Concluding the three-day visit to the United States, Narendra Modi arrived today in New Delhi. Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Jai Prakash Nadda along with BJP’s General Secretaries Arun Singh and Tarun Chugh, Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta, and Former Health Minister Harsh Vardhan were present at the Palam Airport among some of the other senior party functionaries.
PM Modi received a grand welcome in Delhi where multiple artists from different states were invited to play many musical instruments. On arrival, Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister of India welcomed him through a tweet saying that his visit will certainly go a long way in strengthening the India-USA friendship.
PM Modi had addressed the United Nations General Assembly and attended the first in-person Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (QUAD) Summit. He also met US President Joe Bidden and US Vice President Harris and his counterparts from Australian Scott Morrison and Japanese Yoshihide Suga.
Besides the memorable bilateral and multilateral engagements, PM Modi also brings with him 157 artifacts and antiquities that were handed over to India expressing US commitment to strengthening efforts to combat theft, illicit trade, and trafficking of cultural objects.
