New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first-ever National Training Conclave in Delhi on Sunday. The conclave was attended by over 2,000 civil servants from across the country.
In his address, PM Modi said that the conclave was an opportunity to “reimagine” the civil service and make it “future-ready”. He said that the civil service must be equipped with the skills and knowledge to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
PM Modi also stressed the importance of innovation and creativity in the civil service. He said that civil servants must be “open to new ideas” and “willing to experiment”.
The Prime Minister also spoke about the importance of public service. He said that civil servants must be “committed to the welfare of the people” and “work tirelessly for the betterment of society”.
The National Training Conclave was organized by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC). The CBC is a government body that is responsible for training and development of civil servants.
The breakout sessions focused on specific topics related to the civil service, such as; Leadership and management, Policy making, Public administration, Law and order. The National Training Conclave was a valuable opportunity for civil servants to learn from each other and share ideas. The conclave also helped to promote innovation and creativity in the civil service.
The conclave was a success and it is hoped that it will be held on a regular basis. The conclave is a step in the right direction and it will help to make the civil service more effective and efficient.
