Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Gujarat. He began his visit today with a grand road show in Bhavnagar, attended by thousands of people. He then inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for development projects worth ₹34,200 crore at Gandhi Maidan. These include schemes like “Prosperity from the Sea.” The Prime Minister said that if we truly have an enemy, it is our dependence on other countries.

The Prime Minister said that self-reliant India is the cure for 100 problems.
The Prime Minister said, “Today, India is moving forward with the spirit of universal brotherhood. We have no enemies in the world. In fact, if we do have an enemy, it is our dependence on other countries. This is our enemy. We must unite and defeat this enemy of India. If we remain dependent on others, our self-respect will be hurt. We cannot put the future of future generations at stake. The cure for a hundred problems is a self-reliant India.”
Afterward, he will conduct an aerial survey of Dholera and review progress on the National Maritime Heritage Complex at Lothal, an ambitious project aimed at preserving India’s maritime history. Additionally, he will inaugurate several important maritime sector projects, including the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal and LNG infrastructure. The visit promises significant advancements in Gujarat’s economic landscape, from renewable energy projects to improved healthcare and transport infrastructure.
