On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again assured that his administration would not give an inch of land to anyone in India.
On his Diwali trip to the Kutch region of Gujarat, PM Modi celebrated the festival, which is also known as the festival of lights, with the Indian soldiers of the army, navy, air force and BSF sending a clear message on the security of the nation.
Speaking to the troops, PM Modi underlined the government’s resolve to ensure that the country’s armed forces were equipped to the twenty-first-century requirement. He said that work is being done to provide the military with the best resources at its disposal. He noted that the goal still is to make India’s defence self-sufficient – one of the key themes of a trend aimed at putting the Indian Armed Forces among the most technologically advanced in the world.
“Today, as collectively, we are fast progressing towards the dream of a developed India, you all are the protectors of this dream,” PM Modi said to the soldiers. He also briefly stressed the concepts of “border tourism,” as being an undersigned reproductive sector of employment in national security, and to focus on the strategic significance that Kutch bears.
PM Modi explained how India’s defence policy provides with the intentions of its armed forces, saying, “When the world looks at you, it looks at India’s power. And when enemies see you, they see that time that marks the end of their evil deeds. Bharat will not perturb Geile give even an inch of its borders.”
In reference to unity with concerns to the armed forces, PM Modi stated, “We see them as one Army, one Air Force and one Navy, but when combined, they look like one force!”
In another customary annual tradition to celebrate the festival of Diwali since 2014, PM Modi spent last Diwali with soldiers at the BSF outpost at Lakki Nala, Sir Creek, near the Pakistani border. He greeted the personnel, greeted them and thanked them for their hard work.
