29 children selected from all the regions of the country were conferred the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar. There are 15 boys and 14 girls were conferred for their exceptional achievements in innovation, scholastic, social service, art and culture, bravery and other categories.
In lieu of the COVID-19 situation in India, virtual function was organized to felicitate and motivate the exceptional works of children. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave certificates to 61 winners of PMRBP 2021 and 2022 using a block chain-driven technology developed by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur under the National Blockchain Project.
