Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Monday, found fault with recent comments by a Pakistani leader who seemed to endorse Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as well as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal as the ongoing Lok Sabha elections continue. Speaking to IANS, Modi described the topic as a ‘serious matter’ that needed to be investigated.

Those certain individuals get endorsements from such people who harbor hatred against India, and he thought that this issue needs to be studied properly. ”There are certain people whom the people with animosity towards us like,” He quipped. “This is a concern that one needs to ask: why does support come from there (Pakistan) for a few individuals? This is an issue that needs a probe.”

Modi also made it clear that it is unbecoming of him to give long statements on such topics from his level but appreciated the worry that accompanied the grudge.

They discovered an old tweet by Kejriwal that was translated and posted by Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, who is a former Pakistani minister, in which he supported him for the elections last week. Unlike the youngsters who complain that politics is boring, Kejriwal promised in a picture with his family posted on social platform X that he and his family had cast their votes against dictatorship, unemployment, and inflation. He reposted a picture in which Kejriwal and others were allegedly photoshopped and put the message calling for love and tolerance instead of hatred and extremism, which Kejriwal slammed.

“Chaudhry Sahib, I and the people of my country are capable of managing it we don’t need your tweet Right now, Pakistan is in a very bad condition just you handle your country,” Kejriwal replied. According to him, elections in India are an internal affair, and India will not allow any external forces, right from those related to terrorism, to address Indians.
