PM Modi will be on a visit to Karnataka today. During his Karnataka visit, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of urban connectivity projects worth more than ₹ 23,000 crore for Bengaluru and several parts of the country. This also includes flagging off 3 Vande Bharat Express trains and inaugurating the Bangalore Metro Yellow Line. PM Modi will ride the metro from RV Road (Ragigudda) to Electronic City Metro Station.
Multiple traffic restrictions have been put in place in Bengaluru ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit on Sunday. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Yellow Line from RV Road (Ragigudda) to Bommasandra under Phase-2 of Bengaluru Metro. The length of this line is more than 19 km and the cost incurred on it is around ₹7,160 crore. With the opening of this new line, the metro network in Bengaluru will increase to more than 96 km. he informed about his vist through a tweet on X.
Along with this, he will also lay the foundation stone of the Bangalore Metro Phase-3 project, which will cost more than ₹ 15,610 crore. The project will be more than 44 kilometers long and will have 31 elevated stations. This project will ease the growing traffic of the city and connect residential, industrial and educational areas.
