New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 103rd edition of Mann Ki Baat today. The monthly radio program is aired on the last Sunday of each month. This time PM Modi announced “Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign that will be launched to honor martyred brave heart men and women.
“Sharing this month’s mann ki baat. Do tune in!”, tweeted PM Modi as he shared a glimpse of it.
“In the memory of these luminaries special inscriptions will also be installed in lakhs of village panchayats of the country”, said PM Modi. “Amrit Kalash Yatra, carrying soil in 7500 urns from every corner of the country will conclude in Delhi. The Yatra will also carry with it saplings from different parts of the country”, he further added.
PM Modi also informed that America has returned more than a hundred rare artifacts to India that were 2500 to 250 years old. Lauding the women in Uttarakhand for preserving the cultural heritage Bhojpatra, he was overwhelmed to receive the gifts from them.
He noted that India has taken a huge step against drugs. “After seizing 1.5 lakh kg consignment of drugs, it has been destroyed. India has also created a unique record of destroying 10 lakh kg of drugs”, he said.
