New Delhi: Proceedings in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were disrupted once again on Day 3 of the Monsoon Session on Wednesday, as relentless opposition protests led to repeated adjournments. The uproar was primarily over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar ahead of the upcoming Assembly election scheduled later this year.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh has also given an adjournment of business notice in Rajya Sabha under Rule 267 and demanded a discussion on the constitutional and electoral implications of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists in Bihar.

Rajya Sabha MP Ranjit Ranjan has given an Adjournment of Business Notice under Rule 267 in the Rajya Sabha, seeking a discussion on the constitutional and electoral implications of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral lists in Bihar.

Meanwhile, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi has made a big allegation against the government for not being able to work in Parliament. Priyanka said that the government is not allowing the opposition to speak in Parliament. She said that the opposition is demanding discussion on all issues, why does the government not give permission for this. She said that in the last session of Parliament, the ruling party created a ruckus.

In the last three days, there has been a lot of uproar in the Parliament on issues ranging from voter list revision to Operation Sindoor and Trump’s statement. There are chances of uproar in the Parliament even today. Before the start of the proceedings of the Parliament, the opposition MPs have protested at the Makar Dwar of the Parliament. There was a lot of sloganeering along with banners and posters.
