JK Encounter: Indian Army soldiers killed two terrorists in an encounter in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. The army said that suspicious terrorist activities were seen in this area. After this, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police jointly started the operation. During this, the terrorists opened fire on the security forces team. Taking action in response, the security forces killed both the terrorists. The army is conducting a big search operation in the forests near the LOC in anticipation of more terrorists.

White Knight Corps named it as Operation Shivshakti. “In a successful anti-infiltration operation, alert troops of the Indian Army eliminated two terrorists attempting to infiltrate across Line of Control”, wrote White Knight Corps on X.

Security forces said that information was received about suspicious activities near the LoC in Degwar sector. Based on this, the army immediately cordoned off the area and started a search operation.

Earlier on Tuesday, the army had killed three terrorists who carried out the Pahalgam attack under Operation Mahadev in Lidwas, Srinagar. This operation was launched in the dense Dachigaon forests of Srinagar. The army had recovered a large amount of ammunition and ration for several days from the terrorists.

The army said that all the three terrorists killed were associated with TRF. Lashkar terrorist Musa is also said to be among the killed terrorists. The bodies of the three terrorists were seen from the drone. This was confirmed by drone photography.
