NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi through video conferencing on Tuesday unveiled the logo, theme, and website for India’s maiden G20 Presidency.

“India led the renewable energy revolution with One Sun, One World, One Grid. India strengthened the global health initiative with One Earth, One Health. And now India’s theme for the G20 will be One Earth, One Family, One Future,” PM Modi said.

At the launch, he congratulated countrymen on the historic occasion. ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’ is the signature of India’s compassion for the world. Lotus portrays the cultural heritage and faith of India in bringing the world together”, he said elucidating the importance of the logo.

He also acknowledged the efforts of all previous governments as well as contributions by the citizens to make India a progressive nation. PM Modi pointed out, “After independence, we commenced a journey to the heights of development, it includes the efforts of all the governments in the last 75 years, every government and citizen had put in the efforts to take India forward.”

India will assume G20 Presidency from December 1, 2022, until November 30, 2023.
