Noida: The Supertech’s illegal twin towers in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida are set to be demolished at 2:30 PM. All preparations are done and the stage is set for safe demolition of the 100-meter-tall structures that will be fone in nine seconds. 11 smog guns have been deployed in the area ahead of the blast.
The greater Noida expressway has been shut for vehicular movement from 2:15 to 2:45 PM for its close proximity to the twin towers. According to Edifice Engineering, the demolition firm, over 3,500 kg of explosives will be used to raze the twin towers. Over 5,000 people from Emerald Court and ATS Village societies have been evacuated as the impact of demolition is likely to be maximum in and around the areas.
While NGO’s are working to rescue dogs from the premises, nearly 3,000 vehicles have been removed from the area. Earlier on Friday, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath asked for strict compliance with safety standards during the demolition process of the Supertech Twin Towers in Noida.
