Udaipur: The NIA in a fresh attempt has taken the custody of the two accused arrested in the gruesome murder in Udaipur. Early on Saturday, the NIA team arrived at Rajasthan’s Ajmer Jail to take over the custody of Mohammed Riyaz and Ghouse Mohammed. They are now being transported to Jaipur under high security and will be presented before the court today.
According to sources, it is being learnt that the accused had been indoctrinated by Pakistan-based handlers, identified as Salman Haider and Abu Ibrahim. The sources said Salman Haider and Abu Ibrahim- had been provoking the accused to stage a major attack in the wake of the Prophet row over the BJP Spokesperson’s remark.
Meanwhile, the internet services in Udaipur continued to remain suspended while the curfew was relaxed for four hours today.
Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor in Udaipur market was murdered on Tuesday by two cleaver-wielding men who later accepted their crime by sharing the video filmed while committing the crime.
