New Delhi: The ED on Thursday resumed its search at the sealed premises of Young Indians, the holding company of Congress-owned National Herald newspaper after senior party leader Mallikarjun Kharge arrived at the building.

As per reports, Kharge who is the principal officer of the company was summoned by the ED during Parliament sessions. The federal agency had temporarily on Wednesday sealed the four-storeyed building to preserve evidence as it failed to recover major proof in the absence of its authorized representatives.

Officials on Thursday have stated to carry full-fledged search and confiscate any possible evidence that surfaces. A day earlier, sources say the officials collected some documents and digital data and also questioned some staffers during their search launched at a dozen of locations in connection with the National Herald case.

The probing agency has so far questioned Sonia Gandhi and her son who are shareholders in the firm. Apart from them Kharge and Pawan Bansal in April were interrogated by the probe officials.
