Mumbai: The Mumbai police have arrested three Bangladeshi Nationals and confiscated their fake identity cards and Bangladesh sim cards on Saturday. The Mumbai Police held the accused from the Sakinaka area of Mumbai’s provincial district along with their fake identity proofs and other documents, staying illegally in India.

They filtered into India through the West Bengal border and reached Mumbai and managed to reside in a chawl of Sakinaka area of Mumbai’s suburban district. They were possessing fake identity proofs like Aadhar card, pan card, sim card, and other documents with them. According to a senior police officer, the charged-out Bangladeshis were working as painters and drivers in Mumbai.

They were produced before a court that remanded them to stay in police custody till December, 29. The Mumbai police traced and arrested them on a tip-off from an informer. Further investigation by the Mumbai police is underway in the case to reveal their real intention behind the crime.

Recently on November 2, 2020, the Sakinaka Police of Mumbai arrested three Bangladesh Nationals who were residing illegally with forged documents and fake identity proofs in India.
