Mumbai: Amidst the growing tensions between the NCP and the Congress following a meeting with Ajit Pawar, NCP leader Sharad Pawar is preparing for a significant rally in Beed, Maharashtra. While the Shiv Sena, a coalition partner in the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance, claims that misunderstandings have been resolved, the Congress believes that the Sharad Pawar’s rally in Beed will reveal the situation.
Speaking on Wednesday, Pawar criticized the BJP and its allies for causing division while in power. He emphasized that political entities have a responsibility to promote unity. He cited examples such as Goa, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra, where he believed that the BJP orchestrated the downfall of state governments. He also highlighted the upheaval following Uddhav Thackeray’s removal as head of the Maharashtra government.
In another development, Chetansinh Chaudhary, a Constable from the Railway Protection Force who was accused of an act of violence resulting in the deaths of an officer and three passengers on Jaipur Mumbai Central Superfast Express in late July, has been officially dismissed from his duties.
According to reports, Chaudhary, who is currently in custody due to the tragedy has a history of violations. One of these violations involved an alleged incident of mistreatment towards an individual at an RPF station, which was referred to as a “hate case.”
