Punjab: In the latest development in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, CCTV footage dated May 29th has emerged where a man is seen taking selfies with the Punjabi singer.
In the footage, two men taking selfies are seen who are suspected to have been informers to the shooters. One individual in the video is identified as Kekada, who conducted the recce. According to the information, the man is seen to have spent 40 minutes with the singer before he was executed.
Earlier on Sunday, police arrested another person in connection with the killing, taking the number of people held in the case so far to three.
Davinder alias Kala was nabbed on Sunday evening from Haryana’s Fatehabad. Two suspects involved in the killing had allegedly stayed with him, police sources said on Monday. On 3 June, two other suspects were nabbed by the Punjab Police from Fatehabad and their roles in Moose Wala’s killing were being probed.
Moose Wala was murdered in daylight on May 29th, a day after the Punjab govt withdrew his security. He was among the 424 people whose security was withdrawn or curtailed by the Punjab Police on a temporary basis.
