Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s response to Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Is Very Strong on PM Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) Scheme. In Lok Sabha proceedings, Pradhan had earlier blamed Tamil Nadu for ruining the prospect of students by not implementing the central scheme.
Stalin, however, reacted sharply and posted a tweet on social networking platform X to criticise Pradhan’s ‘arrogance’ and liken him to an ‘arrogant king.’ He also claimed that the Union Minister had not ‘respected’ people of Tamil Nadu and was given a call for ‘discipline.’ It was made clear by Stalin that the Tamil Nadu government never agreed to the implementation of the PM SHRI scheme and no forces could be pushed into accepting it.
The Chief Minister questioned the Centre, who was unwilling to release funds due to the people of Tamil Nadu. He said just answer, “if you could not release the fund or not, which was collected from us, and which is supposed to go to the students of Tamil Nadu?:
In response to Pradhan’s letter in which he mentioned Tamil Nadu rejecting the New Education Policy (NEP), three language policy and the PM SHRI MoU, Stalin said that in the DMK government, which was an operation of people’s will, it was honored. He contrasted it with how BJP leaders were ‘blindly following words from Nagpur’ – a reference to the ideological influence of the RSS headquarters.
