MUMBAI: Scenes of chaos at the Mumbai airport went viral on Thursday as the computer system reported a technical failure. All check-ins at the International terminal T2 were impacted and the heavily busy airport witnessed huge traffic jams.
The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport said that the issue is being resolved and operations are expected to resume in a short while. Meanwhile, CISF authorities informed that manual passes were issued to the passengers.
Twitter flooded with images of long queues of confused passengers waiting for authorities to help them out.
