After Operation Sindoor was finished, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered his Mann ki Baat monthly speech for the first time after the mission. In the 122nd episode of Mann ki Baat, PM Modi explained that Operation Sindoor stands for India’s growing self-confidence and strong will. He lauded how all Indians worked together in fighting terrorism, pointing out the bravery and accurate actions of our armed forces during the operation.

According to PM Modi, the nation is joined today, with a powerful anger and determination to fight terrorism. Every Indian feels the same way—they all want to stop terrorism. The great efforts and strength of our forces while carrying out Operation Sindoor have made all Indians proud. Mr. Modi acknowledged that the military achieved remarkable results by successfully and neatly destroying terrorist bases across the border, calling it an extraordinary feat of courage.

He added that Operation Sindoor has helped take on terrorism more effectively and has renewed people’s trust and motivation everywhere. The operation expresses the strength of the military and also reflects how courageous, determined and evolving the country is. By his words, this has boosted Indian citizens’ patriotic spirit and made the nation shine with the colours of the tricolour flag, according to PM Modi.

The Prime Minister pointed out the large-scale Tiranga (tricolour) marches in cities, villages and towns where thousands gathered to salute the country’s soldiers. He spoke about more people joining the civil defence and about the many patriotic poems, songs and meaningful paintings from children being discussed on social media.

During his recent visit to Bikaner, the prime minister was given a painting by some children to symbolise their affection.
