Bhopal: A 45 year old Woman in MP chopped off a man’s genital in an attempt to save herself. The incident is reported from Umariha village Sidhi district, approximately 50 km from the district headquarters. Sources reveal that the lady’s spouse was out of town and she was at the residence with her 13-year-old son. Taking advantage of this, a man sneaked into their house. Suspecting it to be a thief, the son feared and ran out of the house.
Thereafter, the accused thrashed the woman and tried to sexually assault her. Despite her resistance the man didn’t stop. Khaadi Police station outpost in-charge sub-inspector (SI) Dharmendra Singh Rajput said,” In a bid to save herself, the woman picked up a sickle lying under her cot and cut off the man’s genitals. The woman then reached the police outpost and lodged a complaint against him around 1.30 am on Friday.
The rapist was administered medical help immediately at a local hospital, He was later shifted to Sanjay Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Rewa district for further treatment.
