Madhya Pradesh: The Bhopal Municipal Corporation has announced to organize a mega vaccination camp on August 25 and 26. These camps would be set up in locations whose residents have a difficulty in accessing the dedicated vaccination centres. Both the doses would be administered; a spot registration facility has also been set up. The camps on the first day would administer both doses while the second day would specifically witness the administration of the second dose.
The Municipal Corporation has engaged teams that would conduct door to door campaigns to educate residents on the importance of vaccination. Commissioner KVS Chaudary directed all zonal officers and ward-in charge to make arrangements for the camp in Ward 56,57,60 and 61. Nearly 213 camps would be set organized in total.
CM Chouhan appealed to the citizens to follow COVID norms and urged them to get vaccinated at the earliest. As per the state records, 60 per cent of the state population is administered the first dose while only 12 per cent received the second dose.
Additionally, vaccination drives would also be held in all educational institutions of the state during the same days. The Higher Education Minister released an official notice informing about the camp. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan made the announcement during the review meeting on August 21.
The state aims to attain maximum vaccinations at the earliest. To achieve its goal, the state administration has decided to conduct mega vaccination camps across the state.
