Bhopal: The State Health Department of Madhya Pradesh has sound alert over the resurgence of COVID-19 infections. As per the statistics recorded in the past 24 hours, the state has seen a double fold rise in infections.
On Saturday,16 new infections were registered. Out of these 2, each were detected in Jabalpur and Gwalior, while 1 each was reported from Bhopal, Indore, Ratlam.
Over the past 6 days, the state has witnessed an addition of 62 new cases to its tally.
The Superintendent of Hamidia Hospital Dr Lokendra Dave has urged the civilians to be alert. She has instructed the crowd to strictly follow COVID behaviour and get vaccinated on time.
As of today, the state reports 103 active cases. So far 7,92,12 residents have been infected in the state. On Friday, 77,357 infected samples were tested in the state. The recovery rate at 98.65 % recorded 37 recuperations in the last 24 hours taking the total count to 7,81,390. Cumulatively, 10,514 deaths have been registered with the state.
