A tragic road accident occurred on Tuesday morning at 8 am in Sidhi. A speeding bus lost control and fell into the canal. Out of the 54 passengers, 18 people died; while 7 managed to escape the tragedy.
The incident took place in the Rampur Nain police station area of Sidhi. The search operation is under process, officials hope to rescue more passengers.
Heading towards Satna, the bus lost control whilst changing side and fell straight from the culvert into the canal. It immediately sank into the deep-water body. And was later rescued by a crane.
Villagers of the neighbouring area believe a taboo on the spot.

Chief Minister Shivraj spoke to the officials of Sidhi and Satna district. The CM said that they will try to save everybody. With this, CM has cancelled the home admission program.
