Damoh: A truck rammed into a roadside house in Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh, killing two adolescent boys, their minor sister, and another person, police said on Saturday. Superintendent of Police (SP) D R Teniwar said the incident happened around 11 p.m. on Friday in Ajani Taparia village on the Batiyagarh-Hatta Road, while the family members were sleeping in their roadside mud (kutcha) house.
“The injured were brought to a hospital following the tragedy, where Akash Ahirwar (18), his 14-year-old brother Omkar, and his 16-year-old sister Manisha perished, while their parents were treated at the district hospital,” he said.
“Purushottam Sahu, another man who was traveling in the vehicle after getting a lift, was also killed in the collision”, he further added. The truck driver fled the scene of the accident, a search has been initiated for him, according to the SP.
