Kolkata: The Kolkata Police has issued a lookout notice against the suspended BJP Spokesperson Nupur Sharma. Two FIRs in her name have been filed under two separate police stations last month.
Nupur Sharma was earlier summoned by Narkeldanga Police Station and asked to appear on June 20. Amherst Street PS then asked her to appear on June 25. However, she skipped the summons inviting trouble.
Apart from Kolkata, cases have also been registered against her in Hyderabad, Pune and Mumbai. The SC in its hearing on Friday ordered Sharma to ask for an apology to the country as they held her solely responsible for the Udaipur murder.
Since the Nupurs’ TV Debate on Gyanvapi Mosque, the nation has sparked widespread tension. The country has been facing global criticism especially from middle east part of the world.
