New Delhi: The Delhi police on Monday informed that the narcotics team nabbed the Kingpin of the psychotropic tablet cases on September 23rd.

Sources said, the accused Vimlesh Das a resident of Bihar was apprehended from His rented house in Delhi.

The narcotics team is reported have seized 104.112 kgs of tramadol worth Rs 50 lakhs.

Commissioner of police Ghanshyam Bansal informed, “A total of 104.112 KGs (2,16,000 Tablets) Tramadol was recovered worth Rs 50 lakhs and a strip of 10 has MRP worth Rs. 192 and sold at the rate of Rs. 200-250”. Further investigation is in progress.

A similar cache worth Rs 25 lakh was seized on September 14th by the Delhi police.
