NEW DELHI: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday. Taking to Twitter, the aviation minister informed about his results and urged all contacts to get themselves tested.

“My report for the Covid-19 test taken on the advice of doctors has come positive. I request all those who have come in contact with me in the last few days, take precautions or go to the nearest health center and get yourself tested,” Scindia wrote.

It is worth noting that his son also tested positive 4 days ago.

This is the second time Scindia has contracted the novel virus. Earlier in Nov 2022, the union minister had reported being infected.

It remains to see if Scindia would address the inaugural session of the India Steel 2023 virtually or would cancel his attendance at the event.
