JP Nadda, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), strongly criticized the Karnataka government for its silence on the issue of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans raised in the Legislative Assembly. Speaking at a rally in Chikodi during the booth Karyakarta Sammelan, Nadda questioned Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy DK Shivakumar’s silence, asking if they were there to support Pakistan.
Addressing the crowd, Nadda highlighted the BJP’s commitment to its ideology, emphasizing that it is the only political party with a solid and unwavering ideology. He expressed concern over the alleged support for terrorism in Karnataka, stating that if residents receive something for free in the state, it is terrorism. Nadda pointed out the recent incident where ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans were reportedly raised in the Legislative Assembly, condemning the silence of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister on the matter. He also questioned the silence of Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, a representative from Karnataka.
Nadda attributed the current unrest and incidents to the withdrawal of cases against the Popular Front of India (PFI) during Siddaramaiah’s tenure as Chief Minister. He contrasted this with the BJP’s past governance, asserting peace prevailed during their rule.
The BJP National President, JP Nadda, highlighted the party’s commitment to ideological principles and mentioned Prime Minister Modi’s focus on “Gyan” (Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata, Nari Shakti). He praised the BJP for standing against the unfair treatment of Muslim sisters and credited PM Modi for providing freedom from Triple Talaq. Nadda emphasized the party’s significant representation in the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, municipal corporations, and legislatures.
Additionally, Nadda celebrated the growth of educational institutions under the Modi government, stating that two new colleges open every day and a university opens every week in the country.
Overall, JP Nadda’s address underscored the BJP’s unwavering commitment to its ideology, raised concerns about the alleged support for terrorism in Karnataka, and criticized the silence of key political figures on crucial issues facing the state.
