New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who is being probed by the CBI in connection with the liquor policy, said he received an offer from the saffron party asking him to split vertically from AAP and join BJP following which the CBI and ED cases against him will be closed.

My reply to the BJP is – I am a descendant of Maharana Pratap, a Rajput. I will cut off my head but will not bow down to the corrupt and conspirators. All the cases against me are false,” he added, daring the BJP to “do what you want to”.- Sisodia tweeted in reply.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday issued a Look Out Circular (LOC) against eight private persons named as accused in the Delhi liquor policy scam case.

The CBI on Friday raided the senior AAP leader in a case related to alleged irregularities and corruption in Delhi’s liquor policy which was introduced earlier this year and then rolled back. The premises searched by CBI on Friday included those linked to former Delhi Excise Commissioner Arava Gopi Krishna and former Deputy Excise Commissioner. He along with 15 others were named as accused involved in the liquor scam according to CBI.
