NEW DELHI: India added 121 fresh infections in the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry reported. The total number of COVID-19 cases now stands at 4.46 crore.
The recovery rate at 98.8 per cent accounted for 172 recuperations in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to 4,41,47,174. The daily positivity rate stood at 0.07 per cent while the weekly positivity rate was pegged at 0.11 per cent.
The active cases reported a reduced to 2,319 in the last 24 hours. However, the mortality rate recorded at 1.19 per cent reported 1 fatality, taking the cumulative death toll to 5,30,722
56,829 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours. 220.14 cr Total Vaccine doses (95.14 cr Second Dose and 22.43 cr Precaution Dose) have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive
