Prayagraj: The Indian Air Force (IAF) will be celebrating its 91st anniversary on October 8. The IAF will unveil its new ensign at the annual Air Force Day parade at Prayagraj on Sunday to reflect its values and 72 years after a similar exercise was undertaken.
“Best wishes to all air warriors and their families on Air Force Day. India is proud of the valour, commitment and dedication of the Indian Air Force. Their great service and sacrifice ensure our skies are safe”, tweeted PM Modi.

Group Captain Shaliza Dhami, a woman officer will on Sunday command the Indian Air Force Day parade for the first time at the Air Force Station Bamraili in Prayagraj to makr the service’s 91st anniversary, officials aware of the matter.
