Nuh: In response, to the announcement made by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad preparations are currently underway for the Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra in Nuh, Haryana. Despite Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattars refusal to grant permission for the procession, a ‘Shobha Yatra’ has been organized by the Sarva Jatiya Hindu Mahapanchayat within Haryanas Nuh district on Monday. Consequently heightened alertness has been implemented by the administration leading to security measures being put in place.
As a result of the procession various precautionary measures have been taken. The Sub Divisional Magistrate of Nuh Ashwani Kumar has declared the closure of all institutions including schools, colleges and banks throughout the district.
The Sarva Jatiya Hindu Mahapanchayat has called for a revival of the Braj Mandal Shobha Yatra in Nuh that was previously suspended due to incidents occurring in July.
Despite Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattars decision to deny permission for the yatra with concerns over maintaining law and order it has now been authorized. During a program held in Panchkula, Chief Minister Khattar mentioned that ensuring law and order is entirely under government responsibility which led to resumption of the yatra.
The situation remains tense as an unauthorized procession takes place amidst security concerns and varying opinions, on its execution.
