New Delhi: The ongoing hearing regarding the bail plea of Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia in the liquor policy scam case has reached a stage. The proceedings, overseen by Justice Sanjeev Khanna, involved the clarification from the bench that the matter being discussed is a question and not an attempt to falsely implicate anyone. It’s important to note that Abhishek Manu Singhvi is representing Manish Sisodia in this case and has presented arguments before the court. Singhvi submitted a chart to the court containing information about arrests made by both the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with this case. The chart also highlighted when co-accused individuals were granted bail along with details of their charges.

During proceedings, ED’s counsel, Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, informed the court that Indo Spirit Company was issued a license under a partnership agreement. Singhvi countered this assertion by stating that his client, Manish Sisodia had no dealings with Vijay Nayar and was simply a party worker who reported to Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj. Singhvi emphasized that there is no evidence supporting allegations against Manish Sisodia.
