Porbandar– In a significant development, the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Gujarat Police have apprehended four individuals, including a foreign national, associated with an international terrorist organisation. The arrests took place in Porbandar, a coastal town in Gujarat, following special operations conducted by the ATS team over the past few days. Sources confirm that the detained individuals have established connections with global terrorist outfits.

Led by DIG Dipen Bhadran, the ATS operation in Porbandar has garnered attention, with a convoy of officials, including Gujarat ATS DIG Deepen Bhadran, arriving in the town. Speculation suggests that this operation is important, as senior officials, including the IG, are actively involved.

The successful culmination of the operation occurred at the Special Operations Group (SOG) office in Porbandar, where the ATS arrested the four suspects. Besides DIG Deepan Bhadran, SP Sunil Joshi, DYSP KK Patel, DYSP Shankar Chowdhury, and other officials played crucial roles in the operation.
