Delhi: The Delhi Police started a search operation to bust down the modules of Goldy Brar- Lawrence Bishnoi. On Friday, 11 May, they were able to clamp down a total of three modules, and a total of eight people have been arrested in this matter. In the search operation, six weapons were also recovered.
The Crime Branch said, “8 people have been apprehended and 6 weapons recovered. Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang members are using juveniles for extortion.” Lawrence Bishnoi was recently shifted to the Sabarmati Central Jail when the remand of his Heroin case was over.
He was arrested by the Gujarat Anti-terror Squad after Heroin worth approximately 195 crores was seized. A total of six people, along with Lawrence Bishnoi, were arrested in this matter when they were loading the packages in the water, which belongs to the Indian territory.
The Indian Government, along with the help of various State Governments, is constantly working to clamp down on all the modules linked with Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi. Most of them have been busted down successfully, and the Delhi Police has also added three more to the list.
