New Delhi: The Indian National Committee World Mining Congress under the patronage of Ministry of coal will organise first National Coal Conclave and Exhibition during 16-17 October 2022. Union Minister of Coal, Mines and Parliamentary Affairs Shri Pralhad Joshi and Minister of State for Coal, Mines & Railways Shri Raoshaeb Patil Danve will also be addressing the conclave.

Ministry of Coal said in an official statement, “the two-day event will provide a platform for policy makers, public and private sector mining companies. Researchers, academicians, and other stake holders to interact and prepare the road map needed for Indian coal sector to align it with National Mission of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat”.

The focus area of the conclave will be to bring in duel self-sufficiency in the power sector, atmanirbhar Bharat in steel making for coals, and technology and sustainability. Therefore, besides senior functionaries, about 150 students of the mining engineering sector are also expected to attend the conclave.
