Mumbai: A fire broke out in a multi-storey building in Mumbai early this morning. A massive fire broke out in the JMS Business Center located in Kaju Pada, Behram Bagh, Jogeshwari West, Mumbai, this morning. Being a corporate office, the fire quickly took a monstrous form. People rushed to the windows in the hope of saving their lives and were seen waiting for rescue. Relief and rescue operations are underway, but due to the high building, there are numerous difficulties.

Upon receiving information about the incident, five to six fire brigade vehicles arrived at the scene and began a war-like effort to extinguish the fire. The building houses a large number of corporate offices, making it possible for the fire to spread to surrounding areas. Fortunately, no one was killed in the fire, but significant financial losses were incurred.

According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the fire broke out in a high-rise building located on SV Road in Behrampada, near Gandhi School. Panic gripped the campus as soon as the fire broke out. The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) arrived at the scene and declared the situation a Level 2 call due to its severity.

Multiple MFB vehicles, local police, 108 ambulances, PWD teams, BMC ward staff, and power distribution company staff immediately arrived at the scene. Relief and rescue operations are underway.
