Delhi-based lawyer Gaurav Gulati has filed a complaint against 38 celebrities who revealed the identity of rape victim in 2019. Many big stars like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan, Tollywood stars, cricketers, and RJs shared pictures on their respective social media accounts.
A case has been registered against 38 celebrities. The lawyer who is also the complainant feels that these celebrities should become an example for the public and they themselves are exposing the identity of the rape victim by bypassing the law. He claimed that all celebrities should be immediately arrested.
Earlier on 28 November 2019, a veterinary doctor was abducted in Hyderabad. The 4 accused gang-rapped the victim and burnt her alive. The case shook the whole nation and the accused were apprehended within 2 days of the incident. While the accused were gunned down by the police at the scene re-creation, celebrities tweeted in the matter revealed the identity of rape victim
