Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praised PM Narendra Modi, under whose leadership the battle of mitigating COVID-19 is fought, saying this is due to his involvement many lives of Indians are prevented from getting recessed.

Fadnavis is portraying Modi as a key player in inoculating and making available vaccines to a wider public with his innovative policies to get vaccines and their distribution.

“Life today is because of Modi Ji who gave us the vaccine. If he not had given us vaccine we were not standing here to see this rally. Vaccine saved our lives and Modi Ji indeed is deserving,” Fadnavis stated during a public rally in Sangli, Maharashtra.

India has been self-reliant in producing a vaccine for the COVID pandemic, as showcased by our respected leader’s efforts of uniting scientists in this endeavour and providing them with the necessary resources to meet this gruelling challenge.

He underscored the global impact of Modi’s efforts, stating, “Today, 100 countries acknowledge that their citizens are alive because of Modi.” Devendra Fadnavis urged voters to prioritize life over development, echoing the sentiment, “Life is paramount.” He urged people to express gratitude by supporting Modi. He was rallying support for BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate Sanjay Kaka Patil, who was contesting against Chandrahar Patil of the Shiv Sena (UBT).

India has officially recorded over half a million COVID-19 deaths. However, a 2022 report by the World Health Organization estimated that over 4.7 million people in India may have lost their lives to the pandemic. Fadnavis’ remarks pointed out the most critical role played by Prime Minister Modi in India’s pandemic termination and –access-to-vaccines provision. With the number of COVID-19 cases on the rise, adding to the nation’s woes, Fadnavis focuses on the need for vaccination and also thanked Modi for being able to safeguard lives.
