Eid-Ul-Fitr 2025: The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across the country today. In Chhattisgarh, too, with the end of the month of Ramzan, the moon of Eid-ul-Fitr was sighted on Sunday. “Greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr. May this festival enhance the spirit of hope, harmony and kindness in our society. May there be joy and success in all your endeavours. Eid Mubarak!”, wrote Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he wished the country.
On this occasion, CM Vishnudev Sai has wished Eid Mubarak to all, wishing happiness, prosperity, and peace to all the people of the state. He said that the festival of Eid is a symbol of humanity, brotherhood,d and harmony. This festival gives the message of living together, eradicating discrimination, and increasing harmony.
Sunday was the 29th day of Ramzanul-Mubarak of Hijri year 1446. After getting confirmation of the sighting of the moon from the muezzin and the Jamaatis of the Gudhiyari mosque of the capital, the Mohtamim of Madrasa Islahul Muslimeen and Darulaytama Raipur and Qazi Shahar Maulana Mohammad Ali Farooqui announced the sighting of the moon. He told that along with the capital, news of sighting of the moon has also been received from Kharora, Simga, Bilaspur, Darri, Sitapur, Kharsia, Mungeli. Along with the announcement of sighting of the moon from the madrasa, the sighting of the moon was announced by sounding sirens in the mosques.
Eid prayers (Eid Ul Fitr 2025) are being offered at 56 places in the capital
In the capital Raipur, Namaz is being offered in 56 places including Maudhapara, Idgah Bhata, Sanjay Nagar, Halwai Line. A large number of Nigerian Muslims also offered Namaz in the mosque located in Maudhapara and congratulated each other.
