Khandwa: In a tragic incident in Salai Dhana village of Khandwa district, an unidentified assailant strangled a husband and wife while they were sleeping outside a tapri in a field. The couple had decided to spend the night in the field after having dinner at their village home.
The shocking discovery of their lifeless bodies in the morning prompted their son to alert the police. The entire village is now gripped with a sense of fear and unease due to this brutal double murder. Authorities from the Piplod police station have arrived at the scene to initiate a thorough investigation.
Preliminary investigations have failed to uncover any apparent motives or enemies. Specialists in forensics have deployed efforts to examine these corpses thoroughly; a process that includes post-mortem analysis is underway presently. As local law enforcement teams seek answers surrounding this heinous act, members of society also find themselves perturbed by its nature too.
Furthermore, after visiting firsthand, on-site conditions present at the crime scene were assessed by District Superintendent of Police Satyendra Kumar Shukla personally as well.
