In a major development in the Disha Salian case, the late celebrity manager’s father has filed a formal written complaint with the Mumbai Police Commissioner and the Joint Commissioner. Nilesh Ojha filed this complaint on Tuesday as the complainant, wherein it is alleged that former minister Aaditya Thackeray, along with senior office bearers and prominent Bollywood actors, is implicated in the case of the mysterious death of Disha Salian in 2020.

Advocate Ojha further claimed that Aaditya Thackeray is not only linked to the incident but he played an important role in the alleged cover-up of the incident. Earlier, Ojha described the complaint, including the primary conspirator as former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh, who lodged the FIR, as he allegedly worked to protect influential people. “The mastermind behind the cover up was Parambir Singh. The advocate said he used to do press conferences and tell false narratives to protect Aaditya Thackeray.”

The main accused in the complaint also include Bollywood actors Dino Morea, Suraj Pancholi and Suraj Pancholi’s bodyguard, controversial cop Sachin Vaze, and actress Rhea Chakraborty. According to the complaint, the Joint Commissioner of Crime accepted the written complaint.

According to Ojha, the complaint includes key evidence that includes Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) documents, which he said prove that Aaditya Thackeray was involved in drug activities. He also highlighted these details have even been mentioned in the complaint.

Initially, the death of Disha Salian, who died after falling from a high-rise building in June 2020, was considered accidental. But the case raises again the charge of foul play and political interference. This latest complaint is likely to draw public and legal attention one more time.
