Delhi: A fire broke out in the room of an Additional Sessions Judge at the Karkardooma Court in East Delhi on Sunday morning 3:30 AM. Sources reveal that the fire erupted in the court room number 52 of the Additional Sessions Judge Manjusha Wadhwa and at the corridor on the second floor of the five-story building.

A fire official said that the fire department received a call regarding the fire at around 3:30 AM and initially six fire tenders were rushed to the spot. However, realizing the spread of the fire, six more men were sent later to control the massive blaze. Finally, the fire department brought the situation under control by 4:30 AM and there were no reports of any injuries.

A second major fire broke in Outer Delhi’s Bawana area where a fire broke out in eight shops. Six fire enginers were rushed to the spot and the fire was extinguished by 4:10 AM. There were no injuries in this incident as well.
