New Delhi: A complaint regarding sextortion of Rs.One crore was received in STARS-II, Crime Branch, Delhi. Five accused have been arrested in the sextortion racket. The accused have been nabbed on basis of a complaint filed by an unknown person who stated accused was wascalling and demanding Rs.One Crore from him threatening to publish nude morphed pictures of him along with some woman on social media like Facebook, Instagram and other social media sites.
The gang is recorded to have contacted victims through Tinder app and extort money.The crime branch had registered a case under 387/507 act of IPC and initiated the probe. A team headed by Insp. Dinesh Kumar and Arun Sindhu compromising SIs Arjun Singh, Rajneesh Kumar ASIs Dinesh, Sunil, Subhash, Pramod, Chander Prakash, Ravinder, HCs Gaurav, Shyam Lal, Abhdesh, Shashikant, CTs Rahul, Sachin and Kuldeep conducted raid around the suspects location.
One accused has been identified as Rajkishor from DLF-2, Gurgaon,Haryana who is cited as the master mind of the racket. On sustained interrogation, he disclosed details regarding his associates. Amongst the other accused are one girl from sec 67,Gurgaon and one man identified as Aryan Dixit from B-269, Chhatarpur Enclave-II, Delhi. No details of the other two nabbed has yet surfaced.
A detailed search operation revealed possession of a One Laptop and Four Micro SD card having intimate videos/pictures of accused girl with victims, two spycam hand bags, 6 mobile phones, one sim card and a Hyundai Venue car.
